Internet Marketing – Discover How to develop “You, Inc.”

by Angela Arnold on March 9, 2010

If you want to build a lucrative internet attraction marketing businesses you need to do the things that successful marketers habitually do. That is, first and foremost, you must brand yourself and let everyone know what you have to offer.

Don’t try to reinvent yourself for the internet. “To thine own self be true” is a philosophy that will serve you well. What do you believe in, what do know you will be great at, what truly interests and excites you? “You, Inc.” will have credibility if you are passionate about what you do, and passionate about doing it well. Your commitment will resonate throughout everything you do, and you will develop the reputation as a problem solver who gives the customer their money’s worth. Prosperity will follow.

Recently I had the opportunity to talk with Ty Tribble. This man is the world’s topmost network marketing blogger and among the top 100 bloggers worldwide for small business. This expert reminded me that being yourself is important. A great way to brand yourself is to give value, put yourself into your business, put your pride in everything you do and have a genuine desire to provide a great product or top-notch service. When you are true to your dream then you will be unique; no one can duplicate your individual character. Genuine over fake and sincere over phony is treasured everywhere and the internet is no different.

Mike Klingler is the founder and co-owner, along with Ann Sieg, of Renegade Professional. Mike had similar thoughts. He advises all smart beginners to take some time for introspection. You need to know yourself well. You are a person of value who can contribute to any business enterprise, so know your strengths. Operate with integrity and you will naturally attract people to you as you help them solve their problems.

There are millions of people on the internet clamoring for attention. You separate yourself from these hordes by being yourself. Know who you are. Take time to assess your strengths and weaknesses.

Build your business on a strong foundation, built on the things that resonate with YOU. Why is this important? Because people are attracted to integrity and authenticity. You can’t fake it, and you shouldn’t try to. Also, when you are driven by things you truly love, you will work harder, work smarter, and stay in the game longer. This is where creativity springs from. It’s easy to think outside of the box when you are doing what you love.

Rich Schefren (Internet Marketing guru) has said, “It’s often better to be different, than it is to be better.” This is especially true in online marketing where so many are following a cookie cutter approach to building a business. What makes you different and unique? It’s all about capturing – and keeping – other people’s attention. So don’t do things simply because other people are being successful doing that thing. Think about how you can add a unique spin to the product or service. Examine it closely to see what is lacking. Then you add that aspect. In the process you brand yourself as an expert and as the go-to person in your niche. Believe me, people will seek you out.

Master Business Strategist Jay Abraham has advised marketers to become trusted advisors. “Fall in love” with the end user of your product or service. Online business requires this. These are the people you must connect with. Serve and help them and you will succeed.
