I am a casual player and I rarely find the right time to participate in end game LOTRO content, raids or various instance runs in order to get nice gear. I’ve been buying my equipment and almost everything I needed from the Auction Hall since the beginning. A few friends in my guild told me about a LOTRO gold guides made especially for players like me and I decided to have a look. I found one which suited my needs exactly and taught me quite a few things about making gold in LOTRO. So, here are a few bits of information.
LOTRO Gold Guide – My Leather Farming Place In Moria
Goblin Town. This place is located in northeastern Misty Mountains. Most of the players really hate this place because it′s a very difficult area and if you don’t pay attention, you will die a lot. On the other hand, the respawn rate is high in this cave, all mobs have a diversified loot table and if you pull carefully, your time spent here will be rewarded. They drop Goblin-town Tabards and Elf-Relics which can be sold for nice gold at the Auction Hall. The mobs are all 48-49, so it′s best to come here at 50+.
LOTRO Gold Guide – Tips To Make Gold In LOTRO
- If you go to farm gold in LOTRO at a certain camp, by grinding, make sure you choose the right mobs. They must drop coins, recipes and barter items to be worth to farm on;
- When you find a good spot, always find a safe spot where to pull the mobs. Try not dying a lot during a farming session. This way you′ll waste time coming back at the spot, which sometimes can be pretty hard to reach, and in LOTRO, like anywhere in the world, time is money;
- When you auction your loot, make sure that you always sell full stacks of items or at least stacks of 10. The very expensive items should always be sold auctioned one by one;
These tips should be helpful to anyone playing Lord of the Rings Online without a fellowship most of the time. However if making gold or leveling a character in LOTRO gives you a headache, I strongly recommend you to take a look a the LOTRO guide here.
